Title: Fuse for 30U Amp Gauge
Post by: 30U sedan on August 04, 2007, 10:28:24 AM
Can someone tell me what size fuse is used in the 1930U's amp gauge?

I can't say for sure what fuse is correct for a 30U. My '36 P-2 takes a 20 amp fuse.

The 28 which should be the same car takes a 15 amp. You could generally use a 20. But if somewhere down the line a wire gets shorted, you could chance a melted wire. or other wiring problems. I don't know why the Plymouth doesn't use more than one fuse for the different areas of electricity. Just the one at the guage.

Thanks guys,

I will start will a 15 amp. If I have trouble I guess its better to have a lower amp fuse then one to large.
