Hi, When I first encountered this site I ran across in my browsing an address for Chrysler archives where it said you could get build info on just about any auto they built. Now that I want to send off for that info on my '50 Plymouth I cant find it again anywhere. If someone would be kind enough to post it , I would appreciate it. Thanks, Roy
actory Build Cards Are Now Available From Chrysler !
Cost is $45.00 USD and requires your car's factory serial number.
(VIN number on the door frame, not the engine block serial number.)
Mail information to:
Chrysler Historical Collection,
DaimlerChrysler Corporation, CIMS 410-11-21,
12501 Chrysler Freeway,
Detroit, MI 48288, USA
Hope this helps. John
If you have not done this recently they now require proof of ownership. Their legal dept requires a copy of the title or registration. They will send your request back if its not included.
They will also take a tracing of the serial number for proof of ownership, and for early cars like 1930 there is no decoding of information and the cost was less. $25.00 for mine as of November 2005.
