Title: Glass question for '51 Cranbrook.
Post by: Max Keller on July 12, 2007, 03:29:20 PM
This is probably going to be the first of many newbie questions so bear with me.? :)

What are the dimensions of the rear driver's side door window on the 4 door '51 Cranbrook??
It was broken when I purchased the car and need to get a piece of glass cut to fit.? If worse comes to worse, I'll take out the unbroken piece on the passenger side and measure it but if you guys can save me a little time I would appreciate it.?

Replacing it should be pretty straightforward but if you have any tips to keep me from making some newbie mistakes, I'd be grateful for that as well.

(I've ordered a couple of service manuals for the car but they haven't arrived yet, they would probably answer all of this.)

Try this guy...? Prices are reasonable and quality is excellent.? At least it was on when I ordered from him.

Smith's Glass - THE GLASS IS LAMINATED SAFETY CUT FROM ORIGINAL NAGS PATTERNS. CHOOSE FROM TINTED, GREEN, GRAY, BRONZE OR CLEAR.

He can supply all glass for the P15 and others. Ask for Robert.? ? 877- 763-4527 or 606-439-2785
