Could you please take a look at my Webshots and help identify this brace and where it goes? Page 4, last picture. Thanks so much! Camille

I guess that information would be helpful? ::) I have a 1950 plymouth 4 door sedan special deluxe. I think the part came off somewhere in the motor department, but will double check the cowl vent. Thanks, Camille
It is part of the lifting apparatus for the cowl vent but how it came to be separated from the assembly is the real mystery unless someone had an obsession with taking things apart.
Thank you both for your replies. The mystery remains of who took it off and why. We have not even started on that part of the car yet.? ???
Does anyone have any good clear pictures of a 50 motor that they can share with me? My books are useless. A few more wires and the raidiator and we will be ready to start her up! Thanks again, Camille
Have only exploded view off the passenger car parts book 1951. Could it be useful to You?
