Title: 1933 PD Taillight Lenses
Post by: 33plycoupe on April 21, 2007, 09:37:12 PM
My 1933 PD coupe has plastic taillight lenses. I've assumed they are reproductions manufactured later to replace missing or damaged original glass ones. I've been looking for glass ones for about two years. There is currently a plastic lens offered on eBay stating it is an original 1933 Plastic Script taillight lens. Does anyone know fact from fiction on this topic? Thanks for any responses!

Original ones are glass. I know because I have one on my car.

I have seen glass ones come up on eBay from time to time but they are always more than I care to pay. I believe that N/C Industries used to carry reproduction plastic ones. I don't know if they still do or not.
