Chet,
? ?Please tell us that the photos you posted below are not of your 1929 Sedan. I see a six cylinder engine and a oil filter, I'm worried! Many guys are willing to donate old running gear of that vintage if it's going to a restoration effort. If your spending the time and money, you might just as well be using the correct parts.

No Fear Pat..., They are not for my 29..., I am also working on a 48 P15

This tank reminds me of a large size can of PVC pipe cement!

Hi Chet, This is a picture of my brake canister on my 28 coupe. It has the original sticker on it. Hope this helps on locating one.

I wish I would have known you needed one. I just sold the one off of my parts car on eBay last week. Here is a picture of the one on my car. They are pretty simple and I think you could make one very easily. Just a strong metal can and a fitting on the bottom. Hope this helps.

I would imagine that you can find one from any auto salvage yard that has older cars.? Our 1940 Plymouth has one very simillar to my 55 Caddie.? I don't know for sure but I would guess that you can hook one up from just about any antique car.? It just seems that your bypass oil filter would work but seems to be a bit large.? I'm sure other people would have more specific ideas.? Hope I was able to help.

Tks, Steve you are right the bypass oil filter assembly is a little too big.  I'll find something to use temporarily and hopefully run across an original in the near future.   Chet...

OK.., Now that the master cylinder is on it?s way back to good health.? The next problem I need to resolve is the fact that my car is missing the Hydraulic Oil Reservoir.? ?Any one know where I might get one or a good substitute.? I was thinking of using a P15 oil bypass filter assembly (see below).? It would bolt to the firewall and could be fitted with a bottom feed line.? Probably would only need half the hydraulic oil but anyone have any better suggestions.??? ? I would really like having brakes.? I have four new brake drum cylinders waiting in the wings once the MC is back in and working.

Chet...
