It must be model specific, because I can remove the oil pan from my 35 PJ without removing any linkage.

I know on my '33 that the drag link needs to be removed from the steering box and the tires rotated to one side to get the tie rod out of the way. But as long as you do that, you can get the oil pan off and back on with the engine still bolted into the car.

I strongly suspect that clearance issues are different for each year, so you will need someone with a '41 model to get a good answer.

New to this - so if mistakes are made please excuse.
Question : Can the oil pan on a 1941 Plymouth be removed without having to remove linkage ? Hopefully the pan will clear while motor is still bolted to frame. Working on a 1955 Powell which has the 41 Plymouth frame running gear. thanks
