Bob, thanks for the great photo of the '57.  I also think it is time to add a few photos of the De Soto also, as that is one great looking car and it also has "fins"  Food for thought my friend

Will these do for now? Glad you like the non-Plymouth but definitely still Mopar FINS too Bob!

Love that gold '57 - that is definately Miss Belvedere's sister and what she should have looked like coming out of the tomb in Tulsa back in 2007.  You can park that baby in my garage anytime!

Now there's someone really getting into the spirit of posting photos of their rides. Thanks furylee! Oh my goodness you have an awesome collection of 'ol Plymouths. That 58 vert. is a gorgeous ultra-rare gem! You have ultra-great taste in cars!!  ;) Post more photos of all your rides when you can. Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving, Bob

Well, I still think the 30'-early 50's Plymouths are the true favorites here but ahhh, what the heck...Even if there's only a few here that enjoy them, then it's worth it to post the photos. I played with the "retro effect" in photobucket. Never noticed it was there before...it was fun! Bob Drown: Is this how you antique your photos? I'll sneak some non-Plymouth Fins here too ;), photos of my other classic mopar.

Here's a picture of my 37 and 58. Had them both out getting them ready for winter storeage.

furylee,

thanks for the great photos of both cars, My grandfather had a '37 Plymouth that he bought brand new, my Father learned how to drive with that car.  You have the best of both old Plymouth worlds, an old Plymouth sedan and a great finned convertible

Bob, I haven't explored my system to that extent as of yet, but the last photo of the DeSoto's fins and taillights is AWESOME.

Good job my friend :)

It looks llike there's very few here that appreciate the old finned classics...so after this I won't post anymore photos of my 57 Plymouth. This truly seems like a (30's & 40's and very early 50's) Plymouth Owners Club, so here's a couple more and as Porky Pig would say...that...that...that...that's all folks  :D

The finned cars are really my first love.  Unfortunately, I sold mine but I do enjoy seeing pics with fins.

Beautiful!
Do You drive it in January? Here, we have around 25 F (0 C) and rainy weather. Nothing to take Ply and me out!
Greetings! Go

Go...So sorry I missed your question from 9 months ago! Shame on me! Usually, I get to drive my old Plymouths into early November. I just happened to post those (initial) photos a few months after I took them late last year. There's only a few more rides left for 2011. I do try real hard to use every good dry day...for a ride in one of my old Plymouths. I took my 41 coupe to work today! Tomorrow begins more wet weather here in upstate NY.

There was a farmer on our road, in fact two farms up from ours.  He had a white 2dr '57 Plymouth that I thought was beautiful. At the time my Dad had a '54 Chevy and my Uncle had a '50 Plymouth, so you can see why I thought that '57 was beautiful.  His son was older than me and I can remember him flying by the house with that car.

Some long forgotten thoughts on a Sunday morning,
Bob
