Well then Argentina must be some kind of heaven for Plys!

I own a 29 Phaeton (in process of restoration... actually stoped as I cannot devote any money to it right now).

I have seen 3/4 1928 phaetons on sale lately, another 1929 on auction next saturday and a closed 4 door in a private collection. The best one is not quite in good shape as Sebastiano's!
Remember that Argentina back in the 10/40s was an extremely rich country where wealthy families brought cars from Europe and the US... in the 70/80s many of these cars were reexported back and the country lost almost all of its car wealth...

Hi Bender,
I know the story how this car came to Italy from Argentina.
If you are interested in knowing the story as other friends I can write some words and send some pics...
Anyway I know there are few models and last time I checked in the forum I found seven ones, following I discovered another one in New Zealand .
As you can see the Plymouth cover the world.

Now I'm looking for a nice roadmaster P9 or P10 in good condition at a raisonable price.

Sebastiano,that is a VERY pretty car that you have! Thank you for posting a photo of it.

As for it being rare in Europe goes,I have news for you. This car is rare,period. I'm just guessing,but my guess is there are less than a dozen of them left in the whole world,and there may not be any left as nice as yours.

Do you have any idea as to the history of the car? How did it come to be sent to Europe,and who bought it there?
